No one falls in love by choice, it is by CHANCE.

No one stays in love by chance, it is by WORK.

And no one falls out of love by chance, it is by CHOICE.

There are two reasons why people don't pray:

1. They don't believe prayers are answered.

2. They are afraid that prayers do get answered.

For those who don't believe that prayers are answered my challenge is actually try it.  Since prayer is a spiritual conversation with the Living God, one must pray to be aware of the spiritual realm.  Sounds all "crazy" to some people but really, what is the difference between believing in God and believing in fate or the Laws of Nature?  (That's a whole other conversation really...but worth thinking about.)

Those that have a fear of prayers being answered probably have what I call Proseuchomaiphobia (pros-yoo'-khom-ahee  - Greek word for prayer http://bible.crosswalk.com/Lexicons/Greek/grk.cgi?number=4336&version=kjv ).  I have been known to have fallen ill with this phobia.  Usually in times when I know that answer God is going to give me is the one I don't want to hear.  It's usually those answers like "no" or "wait" that I fear the most.  I realize now that the reason why I fear these answers so much is because I am too busy trusting in myself and not in God's promises.  Once again, the trials of my relationship with God stems from my desire to be in control of myself.  With this in mind, I challenge those who are afraid to pray because they don't really want to hear the answers that they conquer their fear by praying.  Pray for a heart content in abiding in the promises of a faithful God, "not my will, but yours."

I've always said I should write a book about my experiences.  I know I never will though because I am too lazy so I'm taking the internet book route.  So, sit back and enjoy the release of my latest chapter of this crazy book I call "Life".  Feedback is always welcome.
